I have a boyfriend, oh wait no, no that's a fridge, I have a fridge..

 

Hi! The Christmas days are over, but I'm still hungry, as usual.. I adore and love food and I'm almost Always hungry. So I decided to share some of my favorite meals with you :).

So, a top 5 of good food!

1. First, I'm in love with pasta. Maybe it's because I really have a weakness for Italy. What I like about pasta is that you can make so many different types of dishes with it. You can make it with pesto, tomatoes, fish, meat and so on! What I also like is that you there are a lot of sorts of it. There are fusilli, tagliatella, ravioli and many more. You can wake me up for a good pasta, so that's why it's my number one!


2. All of a sudden it became very very popular and now you can eat it almost in every chinese restaurant on every corner of the street. I'm talking about sushi. I really like the fresh fish and the odd taste of the lovely wasabi. Can't get enough of it! Tomorrow I'm going to eat sushi with some friends for my best friend his birthday. Can't wait! Also because I have a nice present for him :).

3. What about meat? Yeah, I am no vegetarian at all! Can't eat enough meat and most of the time my grandma awares my family that we eat to much meat.. The meat I like is steak/sirloin with vegetables and mash potatoes with rucola. Simple, but really nice. The most beautiful sirloin I have ever eaten is the one I ate in a very nice and chique restaurant in Dusseldorf. Cooked perfectly, it melted on my tongue..

4. Ariba ariba! Mexican fajita's or tortilla's I really like! It's quick to prepare them and you can decide what to put on it yourself. The only thing is that there is a MUST with this dish, as far as I consider. There MUST be quacamole on the table! For sure :).


5. My number 5 isn't a meal or dish but a snack. I am addicted to salted popcorn and Japanese snacks. I also eat it with tea and stuff haha! The funny thing is, I'm watching a movie with popcorn right now..

Dress to Impress

Hi girls! Het is weer december! De drukke maand vol feestjes, etentjes en gezelligheid. Super leuk, maar hier hoort natuurlijk wel weer een stunning outfit bij. Tijd om op zoek te gaan naar het perfecte jurkje wat je kan dragen tijdens het kerstdiner of bijvoorbeeld tijdens een knallend oud en nieuw.

Vaak is het best lastig om een jurkje te vinden dat leuk is, goed zit, betaalbaar is en ook nog eens een beetje origineel is. Er zijn een aantal merken, winkels en webwinkels waar je veel keuze hebt uit leuke en verschillende jurkjes. Ook Fashionblend heeft een aantal leuke jurkjes en rokjes voor de feestdagen, gedecoreerd met pailletjes, super leuk en opvallend!

Faux fur coats: Cozy, warm and fashionable

Je ziet ze overal in verschillende lengtes, kleuren, patronen en met of zonder mouwen. Ze zijn  lekker om te dragen in de herfst en op wat minder koude en regenachtige winterdagen. Het fijne aan deze jasjes is dat je ze op heel veel verschillende manieren kunt combineren.

Om een wat chiquere look te creëren is een wat kortere faux fur coat mooi op een (wat strakkere) jurk met sexy hakken. Wanneer je voor een wat stoerdere look wilt gaan,  staat een faux fur coat super leuk op een leather look jeans met biker boots of stoere hakken. Ook kan je de faux fur coats zonder mouwen over een leren jack dragen. Zo hoef je toch geen dik gevoerd winterjack aan, heb je het toch iets warmer dan met alleen een leren jackje en het ziet er ook nog eens super leuk uit.

Een faux fur item trekt veel aandacht. Daarom is het belangrijk wanneer je faux fur draagt, dat je het combineert met andere texturen en materialen, anders wordt de outfit een beetje te druk en too much. Hieronder zijn een aantal voorbeelden van faux fur looks.

Fall Musthaves

Hi! As you all know it's fall now. It's getting colder, the beautiful orange leaves come off the trees, time to sum up some fall musthaves!

Actually I'm more of a summer person, but I think fall is also oke, IF, it isn't too stormy.. For this post I have chosen a couple things which I think you can't miss during fall.

1. Furry coat. I'm searching for the perfect furry coat for a while now, but I haven't find it yet!

2. Yankee Candle. I really love scented candles, especially during fall and winter. Now I have a nice one from Ikea, but I have heard the Yankee Candles are amazing. These are not very popular here in Holland so I hope I can order one as a Christmas present of something via the internat.
3. Lovely and fluffy, you won't have cold feet with these ones on your feet!
4. Scarf from Bloved. I have this scarf myself and I think the colors are very nice.
5. Pickwick cinnamon tea. The taste is really a taste for cold weather, also like winter glow and autumn storm (also tastes of Pickwick tea). The Indian Chai of Lipton is also in my top 5!
6. Nice and warm sweater. This one is from H&M, but there are many other nice knits to wear when it's cold outside.
7. Hunter wellies. Some of them are ugly but there are also ones that are really cute, tough and awesome. Like this ones with a snake print on it. When it's rainy outside, you just put your Hunter wellies on and walk trough the puddles.
8. I Love... Body and hand lotion. I have wrote a review of this two week ago I think, if you're interesting, you can read it ;)! Especially when the weather gets colder, I want to take care of my skin. To prevent and care for a dry skin, I use the lotions of I Love.. My skin will become very smooth then.
9. Umbrella. You really need one of this in Holland... Unfortunately!
10. Blond Amsterdam mug. This is a mug from Blond Amsterdam, which is a very nice brand with all sorts of mugs, plates, cutlery and much more.
11. Timberlands. I have these boots myself, and I'm very happy with them. They are nice when it's rainy or cold and they can make my outfits really cool.
12. Poncho of Bloved. I really like poncho's or big scarves and thought this was a cute one by the brand Bloved.

“A woman's perfume tells more about her than her handwriting"

The man who quoted this is Christian Dior. I think he is right because the type of parfume a woman's wearing can be very different from another woman's parfume. Some women wear very heavy parfume but some of them wear sweet or fresh parfume. Luckily there are many many many types of parfume and all from different brands. Expensive, less expensive, in a cute beautiful bottle or just in a simple one, there is always a parfume which will fit you, you only have to find it.

I thought it would be nice to make a top 3 of the parfumes which I like the most. I am very critical as regards parfume. I think a parfume is soon too sweet or too heavy, so I don;t like a parfume easily. But I have made a top 3 with parfumes I have had myself, which I also very like.

1. La vies est belle (also the name of my blog haha). This is my latest parfume. It is a little bit of a sweet scent but not too sweet. I think this parfume is suitable for the winter, because there is a sort of warm scent in it, but also for the summer, because it's also a little bit fresh. The bottle it also very cute and beautiful. On this moment, la vie est belle is my favorite.

2. Emporio Armani. This one reminds me of a (little bit weird..) parfume for men. It isn't very sweet, almost not at all and it is really fresh. It's also not a very strong parfume, so this is my favorite in the summer. The bottle is very simple, but it reflects a bit how the parfume smells. Not over the top.

3. Ed Hardy. This parfume I have had from a friend of my mom. First I thought, when I looked at the bottle and stuff, that it would be a very very sweet heavy parfume which I won't like. Instead, this one is also very fresh and it is a little bit sweet. I think it's not a real parfume but more like an eau de toilette. The bottle is very busy with a lot of colours and stuff. That is tipical the Ed Hardy style.

Kim Kardashian, you're looks are flawless

Kim Kardashian is a real fashion woman with a stunning clothing style. She Always looks well dressed. Sometimes her looks are really cute and other times they are funky and cool. I really like her looks because my clothing style is also sometimes a little weird and cool and other times my style is more elegant or cute. On my TUMBLR page I post pics of her sometimes, of her great looks or funny pics of her and her family. I get a lot of insparation of this woman and I wish I have had her closet haha. In the picture above I picked out some looks which are cool, sexy, decent and elegant.

This week I will post an OOTD, it's shitty weather here in The Netherlands, so I hope it won't rain..

I think you all know the brand I love...

I Love… is a bath, body and beauty brand that lovingly creates the most gorgeous, deliciously scented products in the World.

Last week I was in the Douglas and I was looking for a good body lotion with a nice scent. On the shelves I saw a lot of body lotions, shower gels and body butters from the brand I Love... The packing of the products is really beautiful and they are really standing out between other products. There were a couple of different scents so I had to smell them all before I could make a choice which one I wanted to buy! I have chosen for the Strawberries & Cream body lotion and hand lotion. In my country the packing is a little different from the packing above and the name of the product is Strawberries & Milkshake, so also slightly different.

The body lotion has an amazing smell which you can still smell after a couple hours. Sometimes my skin is a little dry, mostly when the weather is cold, like now during fall and over a couple weeks in the winter. Most of the times I put on the body lotion after I had a shower. My skin became very soft and it just feels very nice and smooth to bring it on. Also the hand lotion make your skin very smooth and the scent is also very delicious.

The other scents of the I Love... brand are also very amazing. The one with vanilla I will recommend in the winter. It's a kind of warm smell which fits the winter I think haha. The ones with lemon and coconut are more scents for the summer. But obviously you can use them during the whole year, because they are all freakin' delicious!

I would really recommend to buy a body lotion, hand lotion or body butter, especially because during cold weather your skin could become very dry.

Aankopen Primark

Ciao! Dit weekend was echt een top weekend! Heb veel leuke dingen gedaan. Zoals in mijn vorige blog te lezen is ben ik met mijn moeder naar de Primark geweest. Onderweg kwamen wij erachter dat de A20 afgesloten was! Een beetje een drama op de heenweg dus, waardoor we iets later aankwamen in Alexandrium.. Maar dat maakte gelukkig niks uit! Het was nog helemaal niet druk bij de Primark dus we konden in het begin lekker op ons gemak rondkijken, zonder dat iedereen elkaar in de weg liep. Ik was niet speciaal naar specifieke dingen op zoek, maar ben wel erg leuk geslaagd! Wanneer ik de Primark inloop ga ik altijd als eerste naar de 1^ste verdieping toe, de schoenen en accessoires. Hier  lijkt het altijd een stuk drukker, omdat deze afdeling wordt gedeeld met de afdeling mannen en kinderen. Hier viel mijn oog op een aantal items:

 

Op de 1^ste verdieping hebben ze verschrikkelijk veel accessoires. Van kettingen en armbanden tot hairdonuts, schoenen en riemen. Ze hebben erg leuke sieraden, alleen bij sommige zie je te goed dat het van plastic is gemaakt. Wel heb ik deze leuke grote ring gekocht. Hij is simpel, maar toch weer een beetje apart, omdat hij best groot is. Ik vind zilveren of gouden sieraden altijd wel handig, die kun je makkelijk en bij veel outfits combineren. Deze ring was maar €2 euro!
Ook heb ik twee haarklips gekocht, deze zaten bij elkaar op een kaartje. Een zwarte en een met leuke panterprint, deze waren €1.50.

Al een tijdje was ik op zoek naar een zwarte tas. In de rekken zag ik deze tas ineens hangen, helemaal in z’n eentje haha. Snel heb ik ‘m in mijn shoppingbag gedaan, want ze hingen nergens anders meer. Misschien kwam het, omdat dit een limited edition is. Hij is erg ruim, wat ik super fijn vind. Het enige nadeel is dat er maar 1 vak is met een rits, en geen verdere andere vakjes. De tas kostte €20 euro.
                                                              

Na boven lekker geshopt te hebben zijn mijn moeder en ik naar de begane grond gegaan. Inmiddels was het op de 1^ste verdieping ook alweer iets drukker aan het worden dus dat kwam goed uit.

Gekke sokken vind ik altijd wel grappig. Heb meestal zwarte lage en hoge sokken, maar ook een aantal gekke sokken. Bijvoorbeeld met allemaal snorretjes erop of een beestje op je sok wat net lijkt alsof hij je been opeet. In de Primark hadden ze erg leuke sokken, ik kon bijna niet kiezen! Deze vond ik er wel lief uitzien en je kan toch nooit genoeg sokken hebben. Deze sokken waren maar €3.50.

               

Dit is een simpel zwart jurkje met een dun goud riempje om de middel. Doordat het een simpel jurkje is kan deze op worden geleukt met verschillende accessoires, zoals opvallende oorbellen, ketting of armband. Het jurkje kostte €15 euro.
Op de tweede foto heb ik het dunne gouden riempje vervangen door een ander riempje. Deze komt bij de pieces vandaan en heb ik ook van het weekend gekocht. De riem was afgeprijsd naar €13,50.

 

                                                                          

Mijn moeder stond al in de rij voor de paskamers toen ik toch besloot toch nog even een snel rondje te maken. Toen zag ik deze fluffy trui hangen: It’s so fluffy! Hij is lichtroze pluizig en kostte €14 euro. Vond hem zelf erg schattig en moest achteraf denken aan de serie Dunya en Desie. De moeder van Desie had in de serie vaak van dit soort truien aan hihi.

Soms ben ik nogal corky.. Ik was op zoek naar een foute onepiece om thuis lekker in de kunnen luieren met een lekkere kop thee en een film. Ik had al zo’n voorgevoel dat ze dit bij de Primark vast wel moesten hebben. En ja! Ze hadden er supeeeer veel. Panterprint, poezen, aardbei en nog veel meer. Er hingen er denk ik wel een stuk of 10 verschillenden. Ik koos voor deze roze met mopshondjes. Super schattig toch!? Dit super zachte pak kostte €12 euro.

Dit waren mijn aankopen van de Primark! Ook zijn mijn moeder en ik nog geslaagd bij de Zara en de Pieces. 

                               
Bij de Pieces heb ik het riempje gekocht wat ik gecombineerd had met het zwarte jurkje, maar ook deze ketting. Hij is matzwart en had zo eentje nergens nog gezien. Zelf vond ik hem best prijzig, hij was €19,95, maar hij is wel apart. Ook was het tweede sieraad gratis, dus had mijn moeder nog een leuke armband voor zichzelf uitgekozen.

 Zelf heb ik erg vaak zwarte broeken of leggings aan. Vind het gewoon fijn dat je hier alles op kan dragen. Bij de Zara hebben ze altijd erg mooie en vaak aparte leggings van goede kwaliteit. Hier heb ik deze zwarte legging gekocht met een nepleren streep aan de zijkant en een hoge band rond de middel. De legging was €29,95 deze zijn meestal rond deze prijs maar ik vind ze altijd erg mooi zitten. Ook de grijze crop-trui heb ik daar gekocht. Deze was €25,95 en vond ik leuk om te combineren met een hoge broek of legging.

Voor de rest heb ik een erg leuke dag gehad, lekker geshopt, heerlijk gebrunchd bij de Delifrance (een ciabattabroodje met carpaccio en mijn moeder een ontbijtje met een broodje gezond en een croissantje) en aan het einde van de dag nog een lekker wijntje gedronken met bitterballen erbij in het Grand Café.

Primark!

Jullie kennen allemaal vast de Primark wel! Deze grote winkel is voor het eerst geopend in Dublin, Ierland. Binnen een jaar werden er al vier andere verstigingen geopend rondom deze stad en later breide het zich uit naar Groot-Brittannie. Op dit moment zijn er 258 vestigingen van de Primark op de wereld. Hieronder zie je een lijst in welke landen de Primark is gevestigd en het aantal vestigingen ervan:

Nederland - 4
Portugal - 7
Duitsland - 10
België - 1
Oostenrijk - 2

Eens in de zoveel tijd ga ik weer een keer naar de Primark toe in Alexandrium. Morgen is weer zo'n dag! Samen met mijn lieve moeder ga ik gezellig even winkelen. Want ja, de herfst komt er weer aan dus er moeten weer nieuwe items in onze kasten komen.
Wanneer ik naar de Primark ga zorg ik meestal dat ik extra vroeg bij de winkel sta, want voor degenen die de Primark nog niet kennen, het is echt een totale chaos.. Voordat de winkel opengaat staat er al een menigte voor de deuren van de winkel, wachtend tot hij opengaat. Eenmaal binnen is het super druk en binnen een paar uur ligt er van alles op de grond en sta je soms vast tussen de shoppende mensen. Dit is ook precies de reden waarom ik "eens in de zoveel tijd" ga haha. In de winkel hebben ze vaak erg leuke accessoires en soms ook wel leuke kleding. Alles is echt super goedkoop, je hebt soms al schoenen voor 13 euro of een kaartje met super veel oorbellen voor 2,50. Ook hangen er soms items in de rekken die net weer een andere style zijn dan bijvoorbeeld bij de Vero Moda of de Vila of H&M. Dit komt omdat het een Iers merk is. Deze style van kleding en accessoires vind ik heel erg leuk. Winkels die dit ook hebben zijn de River Island (ik houd van deze winkel!) en de New Look. Beide komen ook uit Groot-Brittannie en hebben ook net een andere style dan dat je bij andere winkels ziet.

Wanneer ik morgen ben geweest zal ik een andere blog plaatsen met daarin mijn aankopen van deze dag. Hoop dat mijn moeder en ik leuk kunnen slagen in de chaos!

Some of them I would like to have myself, so when I go shopping, I can put them on my shopping list.

Keeping up with the Kardashians

Kimberly Noel Kardashian (LA, 21 oktober 1980). Wie kent haar niet! Ze is een Amerikaanse styliste, actrice, model en televisiebekendheid van Armeense en Schotse afkomst. Ze is vooral bekend door haar turbulente privéleven en de realityshow. Samen met haar familie heeft ze deze realityserie genaamd "Keeping up with the Kardashians" waarbij we het turbelente leven van Kim en de rest kunnen volgen. In Amerika zijn er al een stuk of 7 seizoenen van deze serie op tv geweest, een echte kijkcijferhit lijkt mij! Heb al eens een paar stukjes gezien uit deze serie, maar deze zelf nog niet gevolgd (op internet bijvoorbeeld).



Vandaag is voor de eerste keer in Nederland de serie van start gegaan. Natuurlijk heb ik meteen deze aflevering gezien, want ik ben echt een fan van deze mooie meid. Het was een leuke aflevering, alleen natuurlijk niet up to date omdat er al zoveel seizoenen zijn. In de serie date ze nog met Kris Humphries terwijl ze nu natuurlijk gelukkig is met Kanye West en hun mooie dochter. Ondanks dat is het een goede serie, leuk in elkaar gezet, met erg veel humor en grappige momenten. Naar mijn idee is deze serie een echte aanrader!

Kim komt op mij over als een hele lieve vrouw die veel om anderen geeft en voor anderen doet. Daar herken ik mezelf ook wel in. Altijd dat kleine beetje meer om iemand anders geven dan dat je om jezelf geeft.
Ook ben ik helemaal weg van haar kledingstyle, zo classy en ook stoer tegelijk. Zelf houd ik daar ook wel van, classy maar altijd met een stoer of gek tintje eraan, waardoor het net weer wat anders is en meer opvalt, maar natuurlijk niet TE! Ben nog een beetje aan het mixen, matchen en op internet aan het surfen om inspiratie op te doen voor leuke nieuwe kleding en trends.
